American Nurses Association Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation Challenge
The Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation™ Challenge, initiated by the American Nurses Association (ANA), aims to improve the health and wellbeing of nurses throughout the United States by encouraging nurses to engage in activities that enhance their physical activity, nutrition, rest, mental health, quality of life, and safety. By participating in health challenges, nurses can make commitments to better their personal wellness, which in turn positively impacts their families, colleagues, and patients. The initiative leverages a web platform to inspire action, foster friendly competition, and provide valuable resources and support. Ultimately, the challenge seeks to transform the health of the nation's nurses, recognizing their critical role as trusted healthcare professionals and role models.

Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing's Clinical Practice Guideline: Capnography
Nurses face unique challenges during procedural sedation, such as dealing with high acuity patients, limited visualization, and complex procedures. This document emphasizes the importance of advancements in technology, particularly capnography, which provides real-time assessment of ventilation and is superior to pulse oximetry. This technology helps nurses improve care delivery, ensure a safe environment, and effectively manage procedural sedation, reducing the incidence of adverse respiratory events. This guide provides insights into best practices and the use of advanced monitoring tools to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
Interdisciplinary Recommendations for the Psychosocial Support of NICU Parents”
NANN supported and endorsed this work, for which the National Perinatal Association assembled a multidisciplinary workgroup of professional organizations and NICU parents. Six interdisciplinary committees (family-centered developmental care, peer-to-peer support, mental health professionals in the NICU, palliative and bereavement care, follow-up support and staff education and support) worked to produce the recommendations.
