NANN Supports Eduation Needed for Neonatal Nurses with Scholarships

At the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN), we believe that neonatal nurses like you are the future of health care. That’s why your growth is essential to advancing neonatal care. By providing scholarships for neonatal nurse education, we are investing in your potential. Like nursing grants, these scholarships help ensure our members have the resources and support needed to excel and lead the way in NICU nursing.
Sometimes working with external organizations or industry for funding, NANN seeks to offer scholarships for NANN Annual Conference attendance, the NICU Leadership Forum, and the NANN Emerging Leader Fellowship.
NANN Annual Conference Travel Scholarship
Each year, NANN seeks partner organizations that can support scholarships to cover travel costs for NANN members who wish to attend our nurses conference, the NANN Annual Conference.
Support for 2025 scholarships has not yet been established. Details around available support and the application process will be announced as soon as possible.
NICU Leadership Forum (NLF) Scholarship
Synova Associates' NICU Leadership Forum is a 5-day nursing and leadership conference built on sharing innovative strategies, evidence-based practices, and real-world examples of leadership that drive positive change in healthcare. Each year NANN provides scholarships for the NICU Leadership Forum registration fee.
The application period is closed for the scholarships to the 2025 NICU Leadership forum. Check back to see when applications are accepted for the 2026 forum.
NANN Emerging Leader Fellowship Program
NANN's Emerging Leader Fellowship is a virtual 5-month, joint neonatal nursing program between the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and Synova Associates. Participants master leadership competencies in nursing through this unique nursing professional development program.
Fellows complete a quality improvement (QI) mini project to improve outcomes in their healthcare setting and to showcase their leadership growth.
The application period is closed for the scholarships to the 2025 Leaders Fellowship program. Applications or the 2026 Emerging Leaders Fellowship program will be accepted in fall 2025.
